Brakes
Alcon's expertise has been employed in the design and manufacture of bespoke, high specification braking solutions, used throughout the top end of motorsport and high performance road vehicle applications for over 20 years. A comprehensive range of foundation brake products is available including calipers, rotors in iron, ceramic or carbon as required, disc mounting hats and master cylinders. We can also provide specialist pedal and balance bar assemblies.
Brake Rotors
We have applied our engineering skills to generate a multitude of rotor designs for all major categories of motorsport; from small solid discs for single seater racing through NASCAR, touring car and rallying up to 16.14 inches (410mm) diameter vented rotors for endurance racing.
Brake Calipers
Many designs are monobloc, machined from billet aluminum alloy, and extend from small, 2, 4 and 6-pot designs to larger 4 and 6-piston variants, including our unique and highly-acclaimed 6-pot, 6-pad designs, along with 12-piston versions for specialist applications.
Pad & Rotor Bedding Facilities
One of Alcon's two specially commissioned computer-controlled disc and pad bedding machines is operated in Mooresville, NC and is used to pre-condition discs and pads using any friction material. This saves our customers precious track time and ensures that pads and rotors are effective and consistent straight from the box.
Big Brake Kits
Alcon vast experience and expertise has also been applied to create a range of brake upgrades for high performance production cars. Advantage Extreme brake kits are are available for several high performance enthusiast cars. Where extraordinary levels of performance are required, Alcon Super Kits are the highest specification available.
