Alcon USA provides sales, service and technical support in North America for the premium brake and clutch products designed and manufactured by parent company Alcon Components Ltd.
Alcon's heritage in the US reaches back to the 1980's when the likes of March Engineering started fitting Alcon brakes on Indy Cars. In 1988 Audi dominated the Trans-Am series with Alcon brakes which began the string of victories and championships for Alcon equipped cars in race series including Trans Am, IndyCar, IMSA, Grand Am, NASCAR. Recent triumphs for Alcon equipment include 2009 IndyCar Champion Dario Franchitti and 2009 along with 2009 Daytona Prototype champions Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney.
Today Alcon USA has locations in Illinois and North Carolina servicing all types of racing and performance oriented customers in partnership with a select few specialized distributors.
Alcon is honored to have an alliance with Raybestos - the official brake of NASCAR® where we design, manufacture and service a complete range of Raybestos branded calipers, rotors hats & hardware utilizing Alcon technology for the unique demands of NASCAR® Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World series racing.
Alcon is also proud to be the sole approved supplier of brake calipers and rotors for road and street course events in the IRL IndyCar® Series. We are also an approved manufacturer in Grand Am and NASCAR.
